I would never buy a netbook that expencive... I would rather get an EEE pc or the origonal AA1... that price.... horrid.

Where did you get this news?

EDIT:: That price is impossilbe... The only (spec-wise) difference is the 10.1 inches, atom N280, and GN40 chipset... which was priced to be $16 more than the N270. Acer would not raise the price $200...

I have been googling around and have found no mention of the D150...

After a couple minuets of research I can tell you that most of the original post is bogus (except the specs).

The 10.1 inch AA1 is called the "Acer Aspire One 103" not D150
Every site I have been to that has aa1 news states it's estimated around $399
Every site I have been to says that it will be released in Feb.

I am not sure where (or if) you got your information from some obscure source that is not on the internet but I can tell you that it is wrong.

Won't get another netbook until they get the dual core version of the Atom.

Ah lol can't wait till march, must get one now. Eh well thats a long time to wait, i been doing alot of research on the acer. It is sad to see the 8.9" to be phased out from the market. But about the only upgrading i'll be doing is the battery and switching the HDD to a 2.5" SSD Sata.

Plus i have a power inverter for my vehicle already so i won't have no shortage of power for mobility.

I'm not sure the extra 8 sq/in is enough to matter (for my purposes anyway). I think if I didn't have the current XP/1GB/120 I'd hold out til the 10.1" is released and wait for the price drop on the 9" units whether they be the 120 HD or the 160 HD. The spec jusr isn't different enough to make me want to switch.

The 10" sizes are getting big again. I'm sure within a year a smaller model of some brand will be out with a dual core.

Wow! Did I read that right? $350 for a 6 cell sounds cheap. The poor economy must be helping.
