My Netbook not powering up

    Hi,

    I have a strange issue. Its a 1 month old netbook Acer Aspire One AOD 1165. Currently, its not powering up when I plugin the power (with or without battery), nor does the power LED lights up. I see some people flashing BIOS, but how can I do it, if the battery is totally out, and netbook is not turning on.

    Any suggestions? Acers helpdesk is totally useless. I tried replacement battery, power cord. No luck with those, other than the replacement battery has some power left, and I could bring up my netbook for an hour, but the charging is not working still.

    If a new charger gives the same problem, then it sounds like an internal problem, so your unit probably will need to be sent in for service.
