My Acer aspire one keeps switching of randomly

    My acer aspire one keeps switching itself off randomly with no indication before it does. this occurs after boot-up, its not to do with overheating or batterey problems, it usually lasts for about 1-2 minutes before turning off, making it impossible to do anything.

    So if you have any advice, please help me.

    I had the same issue. Called Acer support and had to return the unit. Never did find out what was wrong with it, but have been using it for about 3 weeks now with no issue anymore.

    I had the issue when I first got mine. I ended up pulling the battery, powering on on AC alone, then inserting the battery while powered on. I haven't had the issue since.

    See if it does it while running on AC power with no battery.
