    Hi Rory,

what's the model number for the airport extreme n with built in bluetooth?

Do you have a link to the correct one?

Btw, is it easy to swap the atheros with the airport extreme n with built in bluetooth?

    thanks

    Hi Rory,

Are there any additional tools to put this into the aspire one?

Or is it pretty easy to remove the atheros card and put this one in?

    any screws or soldering needed?

    thanks

Ummm, that's a card for PowerBook, which has a socket very similar to miniPCI,
but not miniPCI-e as in the MacBook and AAO. Jiminy, I was tempted when I saw one,
then realised it's a too serious hardware hack.

Im sure if you get hold of a 2007+ MacBook wifi card you can update it to wireless N.

I have done this with my 2007 MacBook Pro had to purchase the update from apple store though. Although you can source it on the tirrent sites.

I may try to update my 2007 apple card in my Acer.

OK, I have a question... Do you know if...the wifi card from the wind ...will work at all in AAO ?
Most complaints early from the wind forum was of the RTL8187SE. Wind guys had been swapping out their card for
Dell 1490, with variable results, for the same reasons as here. The problem is knowing just what you've got, and whether
it is supported by the combo of Leopard, your BIOS + mobo, and the effect all the other hacked kexts you've installed
    will have on MPCI-e.

I'm looking for an official G or N Apple airport Wifi card with built in Bluetooth that i can use in my A150. Anyone have an ebay link to what i need? Preferably N over G but i've looked and i can only find the N extreme but its a different socket to the A150.
