I am putting this in the beginners section because I just bought my Acer Aspire 10" model. When I am using the touchpad and am moving the cursor around, the arrow cursor will sometimes freeze and a strange looking icon appears next to it. The icon is a gray circle shape with another concentric circle or design in it. I've never seen any icon like it. When it disappears, I can move the cursor again. Is some program running and demanding resources so that the cursor stops until the program frees it up? Is there any way to stop this? Sorry if this is real basic, but I'm a somewhat technical person and have never seen this before.
    Thanks.

Dragging you finger or even just tocuhing the far right side of the touch pad is the scrolling area.
What you are seeing is the scrolling symbol.
