Motherboard needed for A150

    Hi can anyone tell me where I can purchase a motherboard for Aspire One A150 - MB.S0506.001. Thanks.

    Thanks Jerry, In your opinion is it worth trying to fix it, its probably with labor going to cost $200 US.. the machine is about 14months old and been used rarely. Have you had any experience of these machines once parts have been replaced etc..... Thanks again.

    You have to decide, if it is worth the $150 for a new motherboard.

    I work on alot of these and with the latest bios (3310) they are very solid. If the motherboard listed does in fact have the 3G connector, I would jump on it. Because you will have the option of running a 3G card (GPS) or TV card in that slot.

    These run great on Windows 7, if you play alot of video you may think about upgrade (using the $150) to a netbook which can handle some video. Video is a real weak spot for the AOA110/150.

    Jerry,

    Just curious as to what netbook would have beter video than AA1 ?
    They all seem to have about the same hardware. Atom processor and 945 chipset.

    D250 has graphic acceleration. Asked around because I have not try video on any netbook except the AOA150.

    I find the video seems ok to me. Only problem I notice is when scrolling down, a web page will stick or jump at times. Would this be some shortcoming of the video performance?
