Are there any mini PCIe SSD's that will work in an Aspire One AOD-250, and are bootable?

I am looking for a bit more capacity, and moving the boot partition off the main hard drive.

    Thanks!

Nope, because they are not mini pcie.
You will need something like these to replace the 2.5" hdd. Here.
The wikipedia link above should link to here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PCI_Express_Mini_Card#EeePC_flash_connector

My European made 722 (722-62kk) also has an extra pcie slot. Is the same true for these models?
