Has anyone successfully installed the Microsoft Core Font set on an Aspire One / Linpus machine? The fonts don't seem to be in the "Add / Remove Software" list.

I've read instructions from http://corefonts.sourceforge.net/, but there seem to be roadblocks:

    * My system has "rpm", but not "rpmbuild", so I probably can't build the fonts myself.

    * http://www.cabextract.org.uk/ has an extraction tool for systems that don't have "rpm", but Linpus isn't specifically listed among the supported systems. I might be able to compile that tool myself (I've downloaded gcc for Linpus); is that the right track?

I run Linpus Linux Lite v1.0.21.E.

... Mission accomplished. "cabextract" was in the Add / Remove Software list, and I've successfully installed the Microsoft fonts.
