Messenger won't work!?

I tried to add an account and I got the following error:

Your MSN Messenger account [email protected] is error
Our protocol is not supported by the server.

Any solution to this problem?

Edit: Just tried with Gmail and it works. What's the problem with MSN/Hotmail?

and the aMSN didn't work on my ONE.

Gmail works but not Hotmail... and I have all my friends on Hotmail. :cry:

 

I am becoming very concerned...

 

Here in Spain dont work, ime,pidgin or amsn, i cant enter my account.

In destkop pc work fine, in my Asus one, CANTTTTTTT!!!!!!

Please resolve this, i dont want to put xp, i like this "easy" version of linux.

I confirm the problem

I have one hotmail and one gmail users with messenger

Both dont work on one

and both work on xp deskptop

Can someone solve this? know something about it?

I am also thinking in installing ubuntu in my one, this is a netbook it must have net"things"

 

But is going to be arranged or not??? or we must have another solution???
