Just a quick one before I decide to buy or not - when running the Linux version, can you have video calls with someone running MSN Messenger on a Vista machine (i.e., both parties can send and receive video).

If so, is the quality of the webcam OK?

Cheers

yes you can
i made video calls by messenger to msn users with xp and its works awesome
also skype with vista user work same way :)

I've noticed a problem with the Linpus messenger that I don't know if anyone else can confirm... On a video chat between Linpus messenger and amsn, the video stalled after only a couple of frames.

cheers

I'm having trouble using the camera also.
I'm using the Messenger program with a hotmail account and I'm not able to start video calls with other msn users... Does anyone know anything about this stuff ? :|

i've got the same problem. the camera did work for a few seconds then it got cut off. i'm also experiencing the same with voice calls.
the messenger for linpus seems to be buggy as hell.
