I have suspected my isp has been throttling especially at weekends at the busiest times, but have been unable to prove the case.
I was thinking of purchasing my own router as my isp is blocked to only them and I do not have access to its settings, and thought a new router might be more stable but understand that my isp would have to alter their supplied router into bridging mode, so not sure what difference that would make.
I was looking at setting up a mesh system but as I live in a downstairs apartment I do not think a mesh system would really make much difference to my signal stability given that both my F/stick 4k and my Formular z10 pro are connected to my router via ethernet cable.
However all this is really way over my head so wondered if anybody on here has any advice please?
