If I try to install XP on my 8Gb sdd with a usb key, I find out that there is a 1GB partition which, I suspect, contains some Linpus recovery files. I need to delete it to be able to install XP. Will I lose the ability to reinstall Linpus for ever if I do this?
I have created a Linpus recovery USB stick which I tested - works fine. Will it still be the case when I remove that partition?

Several of us have already raised that question in the How To section, but without any response. A bit surprising considering the number of us who have already installed XP on their ssd. Help guys please!

It's ok to remove the partition.... delete it to get the full 8gb to install the xp OS. There's the included DVD in case you will need to reinstall the Linpus version, so it's no big deal.

Thank you so much for confirming. I will have a go at it tonight. Cheers.
