Memory upgrade

    where is the slot for the memory upgrade?

    Underside of the motherboard. You need to take the machine apart to get at it. Search around a bit and you should be able to find pointers, and maybe even photos.

    Agreed - there are a lot of great tips there. I followed the instructions and was able to successfully upgrade. Search youtube as well - there's also a video someone posted.

    The only scary part is separating the two parts of the case.
    Do not just pull cables out, lift the black clips first (video connector has no black clip).
    Use the correct ram.
    Be gentle and note where the screws come from.

    It will be fine.
