memory update slot on aspire one

    i have a run of the mill aspire one 8gig
    i have installed xp
    runs well
    but the memory expansion slot just acts as a normal sd card reader
    is there a way to get it to do the same as linux does ie adds to system hd space

    c-mon man dont give up so easily
    there is a bios update but i dont want to
    use it just yet.

    You can convert the SSD/HDD and the SD card into a dynamic disk and combine them that way. Otherwise, you'll have to use linux.
