You have to use the adaptor to make it into the full sized memory stick for it to fit. Also make sure you're only putting it into the card reader on the RIGHT because the left one is only for SD.

It's exactly as ineedaname said. Also, be sure to press it all the way in until it clicks and locks.

I use a Sony MSAC-M2 adaptor (comes bundled with a 2/4/8/16(?) Memory Stick PRO Duo [Magic Gate - Mark 2]) and it works great.

Thanks guys. I have mostly SD cards but my PSP uses MS. I'll have to find an adapter.

any one had any problems with Mem Stick or Mem Stick pro?

I have SD card and micro SD in adapters working fine, but I have 128mB Mem Sticks and 2 GB Mem Stick Pro in adapter but the AA1 doesn't see them. Absolutely no reaction from the system at all when I push it in, and yes, it does go in all the way and click.

Does this sound like a hardware issue that Acer should sort out for me?

    thanks for any help

I think it might be a hardware problem, inkbm.

I tried two older 128mb and 64mb Memory Sticks and they worked fine.

With my limited experience, I would try to reinstall the OS and see if the cards were recognized, but it is my opinion of what would I do in your case.

Can you go to a store and ask if your cards are recognized on the display Acer One's?
