    i have an Acer Aspire One 10.1" D255E - 13446
    I just installed a Kingston DDR3 PC3-8500 2Gig stick.
    The model number is: KVR1066D3SO/2GR
    It works great no problems at all, I do see an improvement in performance.

    Is it possible to get 1.5 GB working on the D150? (full model name AOD150-1165, 10-inch screen)

    According to Crucial.com's scanning tool and what I've read elsewhere, this model is supposed to have a max of 1.5GB of RAM.

    But there is a 1 GB module in the only available slot, and the system sees 1 GB. So apparently there isn't any 512MB built into the motherboard, or for some strange reason the system isn't seeing it.

    If 1.5 GB of RAM is possible for this model, how? Do I install a 2GB stick and it will see 1.5GB of it? Or is there another slot hidden under the keyboard that can hold the other 512 megs? Or is there a BIOS setting I need to change for it to recognize all the memory?

    Greetings

    Just upgraded an Aspire One D255-1345 to 2GB.

    Atom N550
    DDR3 Memory
    Win 7 Home Premium
    Bios V3.16(DDR3)

    I used Crucial model # CT25664BC1067.M8FR low density Sodimm (4 chips per side )

    Worked perfectly. Hardest part was removing keyboard.

    Cheers.

    AA1 255E: I've upgraded to Crucial 2G25664BC10 2GB, 204-pin SODIMM, DDR3 PC3-8500 memory module. Works fine! The 4gb doesn't.

    Just upgraded my Aspire One D255E.

    Original module -> Kingston ACR128X64D3s1333C9

    New module -> Crucial CT25664BC1067
    http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/partspe ... click=true

    This module is working well.

    EDIT: Just to add, I didn't bother with a 1333MHz module as Acer said that support was hit n' miss, and that the D255E will just underclock it to 1067MHz anyway.

    Upgraded my Aspire One D255-N55DQGws to 2gb using Kingston KVR1333D3S8S9/2G - 4 chips per side.

    Data Sheet - http://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/KVR1333D3S8S9_2G.pdf

    Everything worked first time with no bios or driver upgrades required. I went with 1333Mhz as it is more more readily available and cheaper. The Samsung 1gb was also 1333Mhz but the computer downgrades it to 1066Mhz automatically.
