Does anyone successfully installed The Mana World?
I ran "yum install manaworld" in the terminal and it seems installed successful.
But It shows an error in terminal after I login and click for create a new character
Error: Animation: Could not find graphics/sprites/hairstyle2.xml!
I downloaded a source code of mana world but I fail to install with it....
    Any help would be appreciate!>_<

Well, as already stated in the TMW-forums (thread: http://forums.themanaworld.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=5760), both the acer versions (manaworld.sh) and the Fedora 8 Repository version DO NOT WORK, because they're outdated versions. Currently version 0.0.25 and above is supported and working.
I (of course) also tried to compile from source, but there are some problems: gcc-c++ compiler errors, version conflicts with already installed libraries(not possible to uninstall them without breaking the whole system...), broken packages etc. etc.

My solution was: get rid of the crappy Linpus and install linux4one [http://linux4one.it] (ubuntu fork which works quite well on AA1) and installing TheManaWorld with the Kronos-Scripts for TMW located at the tmw-forums :)

@Zorofroozo: i'm wondering if you ever will be able to install 0.0.27 with the current Linpus, but if you succeed pls let us know ;-)

dude read my previous post, i have written a howto and it works perfectly :p the outdated version DOES work, but wil not be supported anymore. so try the game with the old version. that"s a simple installer and if you like it, remove it and install using my howto;)

have fun, and leave a thank you if it worked for you;)
