Does anybody know if the MAC address on the Aspire 1 can be spoofed? I get "SIOCSIFHWADDR: Operation not permitted" when I try "ifconfig wifi0 hw ether 00:00:00:00:00:00
    Thanks!

Backtrack 3 is a linux distribution, right? And you use it on an AA0-110? If not, what's your model number? I'm fairly certain MAC spoofing depends on hardware, not the OS, so I would like to know.
    Thanks for the reply
