If you are running Lucid on a Super Talent SSD you should be aware of a bug that might affect you. The symptoms are that during boot and when logging in and starting something rather IO intense, like firefox, the system freezes for ~30 seconds. There is a bug report open, https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/574462, which mentions a workaround. There are reports of the bug causing SSD corruption so it seems worth applying the fix.

I am running Kubuntu with Lucid, and a super talent 16g SSD. Since before and after upgrading to the final LTS version (full not netbook remix) I have had no issues. I did the upgrade versus a clean install, and it went well. With 1.5 g of ram, my little box seems pretty happy.
