I have an Acer Aspire One 721 (AO721) netbook. For the life of me, I can't find anyone that sells the extended life battery for this model.

    Per acer - http://support.acer.com/acerpanam/netbo ... 1sp2.shtml

    High-capacity:

    63 W 5800 mAh 6-cell Li-ion battery pack

They don't sell it, I called. They said contact the suppliers. I tried the 5 from their site - http://acer.custhelp.com/app/answers/de ... I5aw%3D%3D

    No such luck either.

I'm about to pull my hair out. Does anyone know where to find this mythical battery?

I have both a 721-3858 and TimelineX 1830T - the batteries are interchangeable and the Acer websie lists an extended battery for the 1830. $59

Could you send over a link to the page? The only option I have to for netbooks is the AspireOne series.

A big thanks to the authors of this thread --- for I was able to successfully order from Acer the "AK.006BT.087" model 5800mah battery and use it without any problems in my Acer 721. A nice upgrade from the original 4400mah battery that was wimpy. I get about an extra 1.5 hours out of my 721 netbook now! Cheers to the users: Digitalfool and especially "muised" for confirming that the battery worked with the 721 (-3858, which I have too!)
