Linux Mint and Windows 8.1

    I tried to dual boot Linux Mint with win 8.1 no go, refuses to recognize the MBR and crashes your system so beware if you are thinking of this, It worked just on "8" so I will look into the error code to see if I can fix it. Mint is the easiest Linux I have found especially for beginners, I did try Luna but this leaves you wondering what to do next after the installation, If you use Linux within windows to see what it is like then you will not get the full power it is a bit slow .

    I am well satisfied with Linux now and have been installing it on all my machines, it makes me wonder why windows is so bloated and large, should have done this years ago.
