Linux install advice needed

    Hello
    Got an aspire one (basic model with solid state drive)

    Got rid of linux and installed XP, but its doing my head in - need to get a copy of linux to install.
    Im a complete novice with linux - which linux vrsion should i use? How do i install, etc...?

    Any advice greatly received

    I find nothing wrong with the original Linpus that comes installed on these devices. Been using it problem free for months now. Does everything I need out of netbook computer.

    I gave it a go a while ago. The browser needs a bit of resizing but thats easy done reducing font sizes or just using ctrl+scroll. Its much more secure and modifiable than linpus. Make a bootable usb and off you go.
