Hi everyone, I am new the ASpire One world. I have been using linux for several years now (primarily Ubuntu and recently CrunchBang) on a laptop and had that very well sorted out, until I dropped it. Now I have an ASpire one with 16gb SSD, 1GB Ram and Linpus Lite. I tried installing CrunchBang and found it slowed down every so often no matter what I did. I don't mind the Linpus Lite interface and so am happy to stick with it since it seems to work well with the hardware.

Trouble is I have o2 Mobile Broadband with a Novatel MC930D modem. I had it working in Ubuntu on my old laptop by simply running Eject /dev/SR1 and then dialling up. However I can not get it to work in Linpus Lite. Am I being thick!?? I really need this to work.

    Many thanks
    Andy
