    Folks,

I'm finding that as time goes on my solid state drive is thrashing away more and more often to the real detriment of the speed of the machine.

Does anyone else find this? You can be surfing away and click on a link, but nothing happens for several seconds as the HDD chunters away.

Anyone else find this? I am wondering whether another 512M of RAM would help, but really, I ran full Mandriva on my desktop with only 512M of RAM for years up until recently and it was very fast, so I am not really convinced that's the cure.

Many thanks for any help. :)
