I am looking for an A1 to replace my Eee PC 8GB, I'd prefer my netbook to be shock proof so I'd prefer to have the SSD version, but I heard and read that some 8gb versions were really sluggish, is it the same for new 16GB versions ?

I have no preference between Linux and XP, but I see latest models are available only with XP+HDD or Linux+SSD, all with 1GB of RAM

I tried a 120GB XP with 3-cell batt which doesn't last very long ... (little less than 3h)
