I recently purchased the 120gb 1.6ghz aspire one and I noticed there was a vga output on the side. I was wondering if I bought a vga-to-svideo/RCA cable if I could hook it up to my tv and watch movies from my laptop on my tv?

I have one of these and works fine (though audio needs routing separately, i.e. out the headphone socket)

At £40 thought, it's pretty expensive especially when (in theory) I think it's possible the cheaper cables (£2!) could work, perhaps with appropriate changes to the drivers? -Does anyone know if this is possible on the One?
