    A chrome book will tie you to the internet if you have no internet connection it will be
    less than useless

    Go for a normal windows system

    Yep, I agree - I would pick a Windows laptop any day :).

    CHROME is only a version of ANDROID... Definitely go for Windows - you can then Dual boot Android (Chrome) or even LINUX if you want to see what the difference between the OS's are
