keyboard mousepad stopped working

    the keyboard mousepad stopped working, this may be related to updating to firefox to 3.5.3
    anyone come across this?
    The external mouse still works OK

    99.44% probability it's not due to the presence of Firefox 3.5.3. Perhaps you accidentally hit F7 (which would disable the touchpad). Try pressing F7 and see if it becomes responsive again

    It must be in the other 6%. I seem to remember reading somewhere that some of the applications need some firefox 2 files?
