Okay, I damaged the keyboard when I accidentally let an Italian ice drip in between the keys. The keys in the damaged area don't work at all, which is to be expected. I am temporarily using a USB keyboard until I can replace the damaged one. The problem though is that since the damage occurred, every time I boot the system, in between the Acer bios splash screen and the Windows XP boot screen, I get a repetitive beeping for about a minute straight. Anyone know how to stop the beeping upon boot up?

Sounds like the system is reading key presses due to stuck or shorted keys. Like previously stated, replace the keyboard.
