*** Edit 01 Sep: Everything restored and working again ***

    Hi Guys,

I was using the AA1 with no problems today and then I shut the lid for a couple of hours, restarted and I've no keyboard or mouse (or power/standby button) except for the fn-brightness and fn-display on/off - which I guess are OS independent. I have powered down, removed the battery and tried again with no luck.

I know the keyboard's working as it behaves fine in the BIOS setup program, and the mouse works fine if I start the recovery program from USB stick so I guess I have a Linpus driver or X problem!?

I have tried booting with a USB keyboard plugged in - no dice.

Before I continue with a full system restore tomorrow, are there any boot options to get me into a terminal so I can check things out.

...and I was going to backup my customised setup later!

    Any suggestions!?

    Thanks
