just installed the unr and now need some help

    hi i have just installed unr and am about to up[date the kernal just need a install guide for skype/vlc/cedec etc or do i just follow normal ubuntu guides

    dont worry i went to skype site grabbed the deb from there and installed that, Went to sound settings in skype changed the setting from default to intel/asla now all is fine. Then installed vlc via apt-get like on ubuntu desktop, then loaded a file into totem and it found the codecs for me very impressed with this distro that impressed im going to install ubuntu and get ride of kubuntu on my desktop as kde 4 is utter rubbish never had so many problems in my life with Linux
