What kernel are you using? I'm using sickboy's 2.6.29.1.20090414 kernel and mine works.

Just install "linux-backports-modules-jaunty", and the Wi-Fi led blinks in traffic

I just read about the backports fix myself, but I've already updated to 2.6.30-rc3-atom.

It's Sarvatt's latest kernel release 2.6.30-rc3-atom designed specifically for the AAO A150. I just installed, but the biggest benefit I've seen so far is with my system running and wifi connected, I'm using about 56MB of ram, which leaves that much more available for other programs. Everything else seems to be working fine.
I couldn't say about the D150, but you could ask here viewtopic.php?f=28&t=13122
You can find the kernel here http://sarvatt.com/downloads/index.php? ... c3-atom%2F

Tomt, which one of the tips did you use to get LED work? Did you add 'linux-backports-modules-jaunty' or install Sarvatt's kernel?

If others want to know how to get LED working. I added 'linux-backports-modules-jaunty' (and rebooted). That did the trick.

    Hey everyone,

I tried adding jaunty backport but it does not seem to work for me. I am running UNR and everything is pretty much stock. The netbook I have is Aspire One D250 with 2 gig ram and a 60 gig hardisk. I believe that I am also using the stock wifi driver Atr5k or something similar. I know this because I tried to use the madwifi driver but was not able to get it to work.

Does anyone have any advise on how to get LED working for an aspire D250?

    Cheers

    Suo :D

    Hey guys,

Since this thread is considered solved, would it be ok for me to start a new one for wifi LED for the acer aspire one D250?
