    Hi,

I would like to use my One to play tunes. I have iTunes on my desktop, but am reluctant to installing iTunes on AO. ITunes seems to "take over" the computer.

Has anyone used Winamp to play m4A and m4p files (from iTunes)? Or am I stuck with iTunes?

If the bottom line is that I need to install iTunes-- has anyone done this on the One and what kind of performance did you get?

    Any suggestions would be grateful.

    Thanks in advance

    Blessings

I installed WinAmp on the XP version of Aspire One. Works great and doesn't seem to take up too much in terms in of resources. However, I only use MP3 files that I either created myself or downloaded from non-iTunes sites. So, you need to check on how WinAmp works with MP4 files.

Winamp version 5.12 and newer supports MP4 files.
