    Hey guys,

I tried for the last hour to get to play .avi files on VLC on Linpus, and it just doesn't work. Would someone have a solution to it? I've tried what it's been suggested the "compositoring" feature but it is not enabled by default on my Linpus.

I tried to update Linpus to fusion reps and I have this error message:

"Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: rpmfusion-free-updates. Please verify its path and try again"

I'm pretty sure this is all linked but I can't find a way to solve this.

    Help would be much appreciated,

    Thanks

    Arthur

Did you install another player to replace Acers "mediamaster that cannot play media" ?

If not, I suggest following these instructions exactly:
    http://macles.blogspot.com/2008/11/inst ... linux.html

To add RPM fusion you will need to include the full url to the repositories, unless you already had updated to the now no longer existing Livna in the past. Macles* instructions cover that.
