I saw some posts here says the slow performance with XP installed, because of the SSD dirver problem.
With the drivers from Acer Thai site, is this problem solved?
Is it possible to run a full version of XP, instead of nlited version?

By the way, I opened the add/remove menu as instructed, by it takes hours to "retrieving the list" and it's not successfuly yet.

Does anyone have the same problem? Is it a server location which make it slow for some connections?
If so, the software update check can be finished in seconds.

    Would someone care to help?

    Thanks.

    Hi Flaterik,

Is the performance good with XP pro version? Does everything on One works, (Cam, SD reader, Wifi, etc.)?

    Thanks.

The only thing that don't work is the light of the wireless but the wireless work ok. The system work slowly sometime. Isn't slow in every time, have only a little time where the system seem's suspended.

Even the wireless light works, I posted a link to drivers that fix the light issue.

My Xp goes FAST!, yes FAST...

I´ve installed Windows XP SP3 ue, FULL, from a USB DVD drive, I´ve installed an extra 1gb Ram, I´ve done the advices I found here (I´ve creatd a ram disk (750mb where I´ve located my cache, page file, Ie temp...), I´ve disable prefetch, system restore etc, etc...

My system goes smoothly, I can play World of warcraft without lag, I´m a happy Aspire one user.

    Thanks forum!!!
