i just bought a new aspire one d150 white... i was advised to create a recovery disk first before fully using/installing anything on the laptop. I don't have an external dvd rom and i still don't have the budget for it. i was thinking on creating a recovery disk using a flash drive. but the option is not available on the acer erecovery management. is it possible to create a recovery flash drive instead of recovery disk? can anyone help me?

Posted on another topic on this board. I would suggest going into the BIOS and changing the SATA connection for ACPI toIDE since Macles software is Linux based and might not work under native SATA.
Basically it formats a USB stick and when you boot from it you can backup or restore. Obviously you need a USB stick bigger than the total of your files :D
Personally I use Acronis 10 but I have a USB DVD rewiter.
