Is it Possibale to convert USB to ZIF or SATA ??

    HI Guys,

    i have a 16 GB 30mb/20mb read/write is there any way to take this flash out of the casing and solder it to the mother board so it is recognized as a hard disk ?

    thanks for you replay, i know about this adaptors but yes as you said i want the other way around!!

    Why not just solder it to one of the spare USB ports on MB? There are at least 3 USB ports not in use on MB and you can choose to boot from a USB device from BIOS so it is of no difference.

    i know about the free usb ports, i want it to be recognized as harddisk on one of the ide's.

    i tried the methoed of installing xp on a usb drive but it is not so good, i am facing spme problems
