ipod

Hi all,

has anyone tried to connect an ipod to the acer one? When I do so, it tells me that the device cannot be properly embedded. However, I can save files onto the ipod but sometimes I get a blank screen when doing so and the computer reboots.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

linux is running, I have done nothing to it except the updates.

If you want to load music onto your iPod you need to add some software. You need to activate "advanced mode" and install either GTKPod which just serves the function of loading music to an iPod, or one of the music players Amarok, Banshee or Exaile any of which should work for connecting to an iPod.

winamp'll do it as well. theres an ipod plugin included. cant use it for videos and pictures but winamp really whips the llamas ass and itunes as well
