    Hi there,

I've been running Ubuntu Karmic Koala until one day my AAO stopped recognizing my SSD neither during the boot nor, if I boot from Ubuntu live on my USB, in G-Parted. When I tried reinstalling ubuntu, the installation process would go up to the point when partitions are being created and then it would report an error (not being able to see any SSD). I ran some commands in terminal and it seems that AAO just does not see the SSD.

I then tried connecting another Intel Z-P230 8GB SSD that I bought on the e-bay. Same result -- not recognized. I replaced the cable. Nothing. At this point, I tend to think it's a controller problem but I am not a very sophisticated hardware-er so I am not sure...

I am wondering if anyone could advice something? Any help is sincerely appreciated!
