Ok so I've not got XP installed on my machine and I've downloaded the official Acer drivers from the website

Is there a specific order in which I have to install these drivers?

And also what the best tweaks/optimizations for using Windows XP on SSD drives?

I tend to install Chipset first, followed by VGA, then work my way onto Wifi/LAN and followed by the rest.

If you haven't installed windows xp yet, install the driver as part of windows installation.
What I mean is to use nlite to embed your driver into your installation disk. That way, you'll save space, time, and it's more reliable that way.

    I second that:

    Chipset
    VGA
    Audio
    LAN
    then the rest

Note: Most of the time on integrated chipsets VGA, Audio and LAN are all apart of the chipset thus the order.
