Installing Downloaded Programs

    I'm new to Linux

    How I we install Google Earth and Limewire to my one. There 2 versions of Linux in their download page, which do I download and how can it be installed.

    i too have no idea how to install programs. I wanted to update my firefox to 3.0 and linux is so alien to me. :D

    Don't get XP just to run some programs, due to its "weight" it's just not the best OS for systems like the AOne. Just search the forums here and on other 'Eee-type' sites for information about installing programs - it's there allright. 'Yum install' is your friend.

    I have read that linpus is based on fedora 6. If this can help you....
