I replaced the stock WiFi card that came with my D250-1042 with an Intel 5300 Half size mini PCI-e. Before the swap, I was registering communication speed of 54 Mbps. After the swap completed I still having communication speed of 54 Mbps. I have a D-Link DIR-655 Draft N wireless router. How can I increase the speed on my AAO? I'm not using N capabilities on my network because my full-size laptop has b/g Wifi card. I will be purchasing an N card in the near future.
