i have a question, if i was to install a copy of xp home onto the 8gb ssd model would the left sd expansion slot still function, i.e if i put a 4gb sd card in would it add that to the maximum storage? like it does on the default linpus os or is there any kind of software mod or tool that allows this functionality to return. many thanks david

no, and there isn't a way to do this because Windows sees it as a removable disk so it won't allow you to mount it to an empty folder like it can with hard disks (that would add it to your total storage though not the same 100% as linplus does).
