Install program

    I'm trying to install Autocad on my A110 Linux but although I have the whole program there I can't seem to make the .exe file run.Any ideas?

    .exe files are Windows executable files. They won't run on Linux without a Windows emulator.

    Sorry if I sound thick but where can I find a windows emulator?

    Probably the most used emulator is a programme called "wine". The website for wine can be found here, however it might be available through the add/remove programmes tool (I haven't checked).

    Hi, Wine is not an emulator. It runs windows aplications.
    It can be added in the add/remove, as this is what I used to install wine.
    I ticked all the items listed as wine.

    Still new to this so, testing it. installed ms pub 2000

    I think I have a small problem as I get a message saying that I need more hd space, so I will have to look into how to increase this later. I have the 120gig version, so I know I have got plenty of room.
