    Hi,
Have tried to search on this but difficult to get any results.

Is it possible to remove the linpus lite from the Acer AA0 512mb ram and 8gb ssd and put on the version of Linpus lite or full version from their web site?

    Thanks

It's possible to install it, but it won't work as well as the preinstalled version. The Linpus that comes with the One is customized with the right drivers and other settings, whereas the Linpus on the Linpus website isn't much different from a stock Linux with a customized desktop. So a lot of stuff won't work out of the box: wifi, card readers, LEDs etc. Plus it will be much slower than the preinstalled Linpus. If you don't like the Linpus that came with your One, you're probably better off installing one of the newly released major distros such as Ubuntu, Mandriva or Fedora (which is actually scheduled to be released tomorrow, 25/11). You still may need to do some tweaking, but these should take less work than regular Linpus.
