I'm Such An IDIOT...or am I?

    Hello Acer Forums!

    Yes, I'm an idiot. Why you ask?

    Because for the life of me I cannot install SKYPE on my Wife's Acer Aspire One. Sure I've found some other "how to" tutorials but NOTHING works or even worse nothing works as per the instructions ie: hit alt and F2 button and a box will appear to type something; I can never get the box to appear!

    Is there a "how to" step-by-step video available that can walk me through this?

    HELP & THANKS!!!

    Are you using the Linux version of the AAO with the default Linpus distro on it ? If so, just install Skype by going to this acer page :
    http://www.acer.com/aspireone/aspireone ... nnect.html and click on the Skype link, then follow the instructions.

    If you are using the Windows version of the AAO, then just download and install Skype directly from www.skype.com..
