I found that the onboard memory chips are 4 x K4T1G164QQ-HCE6 Samsung brand. I search from Samsung's web, it shows that are 1GB DDR2 667 products. How come it's only show 512MB only if no additional RAM insert in the slot 1? Sorry for my stupid question because I'm not good in computer.

Its probably 1 Gb (gigabit) not 1GB (gigabyte) chips they are referring to.
