    Hey everyone,
I can spend up to $1500 and can’t choose a gaming laptop for casual gaming, coding, electronics engineering and embedded systems work, etc
    What I need:
    1) At least, Intel® Core™ i7+NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1660Ti
    2) 1 TB ssd or 512 ssd with 1 Tb hard drive
    3) 16 gb upgradable ram
    4) a good battery life when used for non-gaming purposes (like web-browsing for instance)
    5) something that doesn’t have much heating issues
    6) 15-inch because I don’t want a really heavy one (no more than 2.3 kg)
    7) webcam is a plus
So far I feel attracted to Lenovo Legion y545 (hits below 1500 with the student discount on Lenovo’s site)
Alienware M15 (the old one - the new one isn’t upgradable in the future)
Please feel free to suggest new ones
    Thank you

If you have a budget of $1500 and are looking for a good gaming laptop, you should be able to find a device that can handle most modern games at high or even maximum settings. Some options you might consider include:

    • MSI GE66 Raider: This laptop features an Intel Core i7-10870H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card, which should be able to handle most games at high settings. It also has a 15.6-inch Full HD display and 16GB of RAM.

    • Asus ROG Zephyrus G15: This laptop has an AMD Ryzen 9 5900HS processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card, which should provide good performance for gaming. It also has a 15.6-inch Full HD display and 16GB of RAM.

    • Acer Predator Triton 500: This laptop features an Intel Core i7-10875H processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card, which should be able to handle demanding games at high settings. It has a 15.6-inch Full HD display and 16GB of RAM.
Keep in mind that these are just a few examples, and there are many other options available in this price range. It's always a good idea to do your own research and compare different laptops to find the one that best meets your needs and budget.
