I am using Komodo Edit: http://www.activestate.com/Products/kom ... edit.mhtml

To my surprise, installing it to the AA1 worked like a charm following the instructions in their Linux package.

tried komodo edit but it doesn't want to extract for some reason always gives error. Can't find any vi app.

I was kidding (hence the little wink icon)

vi is the traditional Unix text editor. If you don't know it, you won't like it.

I believe OpenOffice can create and edit HTML files.
