i think the only way you might get 2 pci-e connector is if you order one with either bluetooth or a 3g enabled one?

That's truth. Only models purchased with build-in 3G/HSDPA have all necessary hardware. Other models are not fully equipped...

you can probably add another one though, if you know how to solder, should be similar to the old acer aspire one 8.9" (ZG5)

I originally bought the Gateway LT3103U, but returned it to get the 751. Both laptops, although from completely different manufacturer has the same exact empty half height PCI express place where a second PCI slot should be. It doesnt have the PCI connector either. Because of all the people combined who own these (and will own them), its just a matter of time before someone shows how to do the hack to get a second PCI slot.

I am guessing we are currently forced to use a dangling 3G modem from the USB slot. Can someone recommend the smallest possible modem that will discretely stay attached to the laptop as you move the laptop around?

Welcome mkanet! Sorry for you that this mod doesen´t work acutally :(

I think this is not the solution you are looking for, but bluetooth tethering with my iPhone 3G works pretty well.

Thanks for your infomation. Aren't you limited by bluetooth speed? At least for me, I think Sprint EVDO's top download speed is more than what bluetooth 2.0 can handle.

If someone wants to try and add the mPCIe connector and the Sim Reader, I can work with them to get everything working properly. Here is the "How To" and source for parts on the 8.9" model.

Does anyone know the correct model number for the PCIE connector on the 751H?

I've tried searching but all I'm finding are the smaller models with no confirmation they'll work on the 751 too.
